RE: IPL on ITV
The IPL doesn't excite me. Twenty over cricket when I don't care who wins just doesn't appeal compared with a Test match or a Bears contest. Nevertheless, I agree that it's good news and I've no doubt I will give it a look at some stage.

RE: IPL on ITV
Great news !
With Freeview about to roll out HD. More football on BBC and ITV. Some cricket on ITV 4 etc. etc. I'll soon be scraping my Sky subs.............................. My cricket membership and freeview / freesat plus the occasional football / Rugby match in person will probably be the way I end up going. I've had Sky for 18 months now - and at times it has been surprisingly disapointing. |

RE: IPL on ITV
I have Sky sports and barely watch it between the end of September and the next Summer... when the domestic cricket is shown again
![]() Cricket on FTA is a very good thing, i hope it does well for the channel. Chris - http://warwickshireccc.blogspot.com/ |

RE: IPL on ITV
It's on youtube HD as well, so some great coverage for IPL this time.

Yes its good to have some cricket on free for view. It surely will create great interest for Asian population in the UK.

RE: IPL on ITV
I think it will be more than just Asians this year. It's much more accessible.

Slightly poor effort from a usually excellent blog. Slow news week Id guess.
IPL doesnt do diddly for me but neither does Market Kitchen but Im not going to write about it (though I just have ).Cant hurt for the IPL to be televised so live and let live. The Kookaburra Man Sugar (stat) of the year award 2009 From DD Truest Bear of the year award 2010 |
