He has to put two or three kids in and blood them,if they dont show the promise under pressure at least he knows for sure how big his problems are..and he does have big problems, certain players(we all know who they are) just are not up for it,apathy and stagnation has set in and that rots any team moral because it affects other players "will to win"and drags the whole atmosphere of the dressing room down, short term signings are not the answer,Giles might as well stick with the kids,he has to find and sign new players that Warks will have for a complete season, thats the only way I can see Warks improving..not an easy task, but that is what he is paid to do.Even if Warks do well in the Pro40,it is not going to solve anything except give everyone a day out at Lords..big deal...the club deserves better team than that.

Is that an assumption, HH or do you have concrete reasons for saying so? Ive no idea either way is why Im asking.

Who are the kids we can put in to see if we have any solutions to the batting issue? While it would be nice in a way to see Barker, Piolet and Johnson have a go, they seem to me to be possible answers to problems we dont have - which really doesnt sort out very much.

Hi WB,unfortunately conjecture is order of the day for all of us that post on here,we all want the same thing,a Warks side that will at least go down fighting if they lose, that is not apparent at the moment,I have no information about the dressing room fed to me,but after watching many team sports for years when a team is bottom of a league and getting defeated in the manner Warks have been in the C.C then the problems tend to be the same in any sport,a manager that does not know how to address the situation and players under-performing in relation to their ability, how many football teams have we all seen in Warks situation?..it happens regulary in sport,Who are the kids to blood?I dont see the 2nds so I am not going to name names, but at least they must have more hunger and determination than the current players that get dropped and re-instated when Mr.Giles cant think of anything else to shake the team up and he would learn about the character of the younger players in the 2nds that maybe he might have question marks about-He knows his first team squad, they are not doing it for him and whatever he has tried it hasnt worked....What is the alternative?
Just carrying on the rest of the season with certain players that probably know their agents are already trying to fix them up with new clubs?or half knowing Giles might be wielding the axe on them anyway?
I am not claiming to be giving or knowing any answers to Warks batting fragility, but how can someone like Ambrose who was a joy to watch for his first couple of seasons,Tendulkar-ish at times"lose"it so badly?and its not just him.
It is A.G's job to sort his players out,he has been there long enough now its his team..it hasnt happened, and there has been a decline in other players standards as well, something is not right somewhere, wether it be players attitude to their coach or the coach's attitude to the players,at this point in the season I cant see what Warks have to lose to try a few brave desicions...Oh well...the season hasnt been boring and gives us all something to moan about!
