While Robert may be bad, Robert is not all Mugabe's.
There are GOOD Mugabe's
It is Warwickshire County Cricket Club!

Thanks for the link.  I didn't think that Bears had long tails; but this one certainly does, unless the likes of Josh Poysden have been really working on their batting.

I see Grant Thornton is playing for Worcester (just taken Ed Pollock's wicket and caught Andy Umeed !).  Does anyone know if we have we released him, or just loaned to him to the Pears for this match ?

I think that Grant Thornton was only given a short-term contract to the end of last season after impressing covering for injured bowlers last season. He is not in the Bears' squad list on the club website or cricinfo. I assume that he is on trial at Worcestershire. He bowled fairly well this afternoon in two spells.

It was an excellent chase by the Bears 2ndXI with Hose and Thomson having to consolidate after the loss of both Pollock and Banks. But as the afternoon went on Hose was able to accelerate, occasionally hitting a spinner for six and scoring easily when Brown came back on after tea. He obviously enjoys batting at Portland Road after his 194 for Somerset 2nd XI there last season.
