Rest in peace and rise in glory Bob.

Just saw the news very sad. Great servant for Warwickshire and England. Up there with the best fast bowlers England have had.

From the Warwickshire Facebook page:
We've received a a very personal message from Bob's life long friend, Warwickshire Bear and team mate, David Brown.

David was Team Manager when Bob captained the side in 1980 and they formed an inseparable bond.
"I was with Bob for an hour before he died which brought back so many happy memories of a man with his heart in the right place.
"Warwickshire have lost a loyal man and I have lost a great friend!"
