Warwickshire v England
Was wondering how this fixture is looking for any of you out there.
Have heard it is definately a full strength England side and thought maybe as the Aussies are finally in the UK and being given a run for their money then the fixture might have generated some more support. Any thoughts? 'Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think...' |

RE: Warwickshire v England
I'd definitely go if it was included in my membership.

RE: Warwickshire v England
Same here Windy, I object to being charged for sub-standard practice matches. How seriously do you think the Rest of the World are going to take it? What with the risk of injuries.

RE: Warwickshire v England
my question is would you rather be going to worcester and paying to watch the lions or edgbaston for three days for £15 i know where i will be. i can understand the reason behind charging members for this match as it is being classed as a full international game that means some one has to pay for security because it dont come free.
on normal friendlies i would imagine it would be free for members but this is our national side not any one else. apparently they will be sending their full team not a hit and miss side got to be worth it i will be going come what may. there's only one Rikki Clarke one Rikki Clarke walking along singing the song walking in the Clarkey wonderland |

RE: Warwickshire v England
Personally I would rather go to Worcester, where in my experience you do not get treated like trash by people who think they are terribly important because some mad the mistake of giving them a uniform. I would go to any venue rather than see an international / "Big" match at Edgbaston. I have found other grounds to be far more welcoming and customer friendly tha the concrete jungle in Edgbaston. As for the security arguement, that is irelevant - don't the touring side also need security? It is just another blatant attempt at eroding membership rights as far as I am concerned. Hopefully someone at the club will realise sooner rather than later that people can only be pushed so far before they withdraw their money. - I am very close to that point.
